QUIZ NIGHT - THANK YOU!

UPSPA would like to send a huge thank you to the amazing Year 3 team who organised the Quiz Night, held last Friday in the school’s main hall. Lynn Nolan, the lead organiser, was helped by Kate Georgiou, Tik Bunluesin, Kelly O’Donnell, Karlee Cairns and Amelia Lew to create a really fun and expertly delivered evening. The evening raised over £1000 pounds for the school, partly due to our wonderful dad, Andrew Banks, who volunteered to be the quiz master for free! Congratulations to the ‘We’re Only Here for the Wine’ team who held on to their winner’s title for a second year in a row. Everyone who attended the event had a great time.

FRIDAY MORNING CAFÉ

Before the bell rings on a Friday morning it has become part of a tradition to queue up for a hot chocolate and a pastry. This is a great way to enjoy a tasty breakfast treat whilst meeting other parents.

As with Drop & Go, this activity would not be possible with the welcomed help and support from volunteers. New volunteers are always welcome and even one slot a term is most appreciated.

See the School Calendar for when the Café will be held this term.

SECONDHAND UNIFORM SALES

The dates of second hand uniform sales are published in the Gazette, in the Calendar as well as in the PA Newsletter. If you urgently need any uniform before the next sale please get in touch with your Class Rep.

Please leave donations for the secondhand uniform sale in the school office. To receive half of the sale proceeds once your item has been sold pin a note with your name, telephone number and e-mail address securely to each garment. The remainder of the sale proceeds go to PA funds.

We cannot sell items that are discontinued uniform or are stained or torn. These items will be donated to a charity supplying school uniforms to Africa or recycled unless the owners have told us they would prefer them to be returned.
